The above named airman served in the Royal Air Force from 4^th September, 1940 to 26^th January, 1946 when he was released through No.102 P.D.C.

He re-enlisted in the Royal Air Force on 14^th August, 1946 and was again released through No.101 P.D.C. on 18^th July, 1949.

His effective date of release i.e., end of terminal leave was 15^th August, 1949.

Attended Aircraft Hydraulic Mechanism Course on 19^th March, 1943 and obtained 72%.

 

4.        This airman was also experienced on the following types of aircraft :-

                             Blenheim, Stirling, Lancaster, York and Dakota.

 

5.        During his service in the Royal Air Force this airman proved himself to be a tradesman of Superior Ability and a Satisfactory N.C.O.
